24 Burgh Island Causeway

24 Burgh Island Causeway is a top-floor, child-friendly apartment in Bigbury-on-Sea, close to Challaborough, with sea and beach views looking directly across at Burgh Island and its causeway. Sliding doors lead from the open-plan living space onto a balcony with a table and chairs, a good spot for evening drinks.

The apartment sleeps 4 across two en-suite bedrooms, a double with its own TV and a bathroom with a shower over the bath, and a twin with a shower room and bidet. The kitchen has an electric cooker, fridge-freezer, washer-drier, microwave and dishwasher, and the living area has a TV with DVD, Apple TV, WiFi and a phone for calls.

Guests share the building's indoor pool, jacuzzi, gym and sauna, along with a restaurant and bar that serves food through the day in high season, with reservations recommended. Children under 14 are not permitted in the gym or sauna, and heating is by night storage heaters. Off-road parking is provided in a single reserved space.

Two well-behaved dogs are welcome, and smoking is not permitted. Saturday check-ins and check-outs are not accepted at this property, so plan arrival and departure dates around that. A cot and highchair are available on request, and a pub is under a mile away. The leisure facilities are open daily from 10am, except on Christmas Day.
