2 New Barn, Hillfield Village

2 New Barn is a first-floor apartment on the Hillfield Village development, about four miles from Dartmouth, and it sleeps 4 across two bedrooms.

The master bedroom has a king-size bed and an en-suite shower room, and the second bedroom is a twin. A family bathroom has a whirlpool bath and a telephone-style shower, and speakers let you play music from the master bedroom through to the bathroom.

The open-plan kitchen, dining and living area has a cathedral ceiling and French windows opening onto a Juliet balcony over the gardens. The split-level kitchen has a ceramic hob, a fan-assisted oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washer, dryer and microwave, and the living area has a comfortable L-shaped sofa alongside a TV with DVD player and WiFi.

Outside, there is a terrace garden and on-site parking, plus access to Hillfield Village's tennis courts, though barbecues are not permitted on the development. A travel cot is available on request. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent, and if your booking falls outside the standard Saturday changeover day, or arrives within 10 days, you will need to contact the office in advance.

Smoking is not allowed, and the pub is 1.5 miles away with the shop at 2.1 miles. Dartmouth itself, with its riverside streets and boutique shops, and the sandy beaches of Blackpool Sands and Slapton Sands, are both within easy reach by car.
