Moorview Lodge sits near this area, offering a base with countryside views from its decked balcony. The lodge sleeps up to six guests across three bedrooms - a king-size room with en-suite, a double and a bunk room - alongside a family bathroom with a freestanding bath and walk-in rain shower.

Inside, the open-plan lounge, kitchen and diner is furnished with a mix of metal, wood and leather pieces and warmed by a wood burner. A converted garage houses a private games room with a pool table, table tennis top, dart board and retro arcade machine, plus the washing machine and tumble dryer. Guests can book private sessions in the owner’s onsite indoor pool and gym, and there is private parking for up to three cars along with an outdoor hot tub on the decking. Up to four dogs are welcome, with additional charges applying.
