Longdown

Longdown, near Exeter, is where you’ll find The Linhay - Holcombe Burnell Farm, a converted farm building set within a working farm with footpaths on the doorstep. Exeter itself is the nearby cathedral city, distinct from the farm setting of Longdown, which forms part of the surrounding Devonshire countryside.

The Linhay sleeps four across two bedrooms, a king-size room with feature beams and a twin room, both reached via a wooden spiral staircase, sharing one bathroom with a bath and separate shower. Downstairs, an open-plan kitchen, dining and living space keeps restored period features alongside a wood burner, TV with DVD player and underfloor heating, while a snug corner with beanbags offers a quieter spot by the window. Outside, a communal courtyard has a dining table and BBQ, and off-road parking is provided for two cars.
