The Linhay - Holcombe Burnell Farm

This converted farm building sits on a working farm near Longdown, close to Exeter, and sleeps four guests across two bedrooms. The open-plan kitchen, dining and living space retains original period features and is warmed by a wood burner, with a first basket of logs included and a TV with DVD player for evenings in.

Upstairs, reached via a wooden spiral staircase, the king-size bedroom has exposed feature beams, while the twin room sits beneath a beamed ceiling. A small snug area with beanbags by the window offers a quiet spot away from the main living space. The single family bathroom has a bath, a separate shower and a WC.

The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and a washing machine/dryer, and Wi-Fi runs throughout the property. Downstairs underfloor heating adds to the comfort during cooler months. Outside, guests share a courtyard at the front of the property with a dining table, chairs and a BBQ, suited to al fresco meals in good weather.

Off-road private parking is available for two cars, and a travel cot and highchair can be provided for younger visitors. Dogs are not permitted at this property. Bookings require a minimum stay of four nights, and the property can also be booked alongside a neighbouring one sleeping a further two guests for larger groups; enquire for details. Farm footpaths surround the property for walking during a stay.
