Burrington

Quiet North Devon countryside with room for six

Burrington is a small village in North Devon, where cob houses cluster around a church and a venerable oak tree stands in the village square. Northcote Lodge sits on a quiet country lane outside the village, sleeping up to six guests across three bedrooms: a king-size room with en-suite shower, a double bedroom on the ground floor, and a twin room sharing a family bathroom with a shower over the bath.

The ground floor at Northcote Lodge benefits from underfloor heating throughout, and the kitchen is equipped with a gas hob, electric oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. A dining table seats all six guests, and a first-floor sitting room with a wood burner and French doors opening to a balcony makes the most of triple-aspect views. Outside, a sheltered patio within the enclosed garden provides a place to sit, and off-road parking is available. One dog is welcome.
