Windwhistle Lodge

Windwhistle Lodge sits on a working sheep farm surrounded by 70 acres of countryside. Approached by a private lane and entered via two external steps, it lies less than a mile from South Molton, a historic market town. A shop, pub and restaurant are within half a mile of the property, with the town's independent shops and further facilities a short drive or walk away.

The single-storey accommodation opens into a light and airy open-plan lounge, kitchen and diner with far-reaching countryside views on both sides. The kitchen includes a gas oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine. One bedroom is a king-size with an en-suite shower room and WC; the other is a twin that can be converted to a king-size zip-and-link bed if requested at the point of booking. A separate bathroom contains a bath and WC. An electric fire provides warmth during cooler months.

Outside, an enclosed garden overlooks the surrounding fields. A raised decked area with seating and a charcoal BBQ makes it a practical spot for eating outdoors. A hot tub sits within the garden and is accessible year-round. An outside kennel is available for days when you need to leave dogs behind at venues that don't permit them. The farm also provides a private half-mile stretch of river bank for fishing.

Gated off-road parking is available on site; there are no electric vehicle charging facilities. A travel cot and highchair can be provided. Up to two dogs are welcome, though additional charges may apply. Arrival is from 15:00 and departure before 10:00.
