Shirleys Cottage

Shirleys Cottage is a converted stone barn near South Molton in North Devon, arranged for up to four guests. The front door opens straight into a spacious lounge with deep sofas and a 55" 4K TV with Chromecast, and a wood burner takes the chill off cooler evenings, with a first basket of logs included.

An archway leads through to a country-style kitchen/diner beneath a beamed, sloping ceiling, fitted with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Stairs from the lounge rise to the two first-floor bedrooms: a double with its own television and a bunk room suited to children. The single bathroom has a shower over the bath and a WC.

Outside, a patio with garden furniture and a barbecue opens onto a lawned garden, giving families room to spread out. A separate games room adds a snooker table, football table and darts board, along with a freezer, tumble dryer and washing machine, making it a useful retreat for teenagers. Off-road parking is available on site.

Up to three dogs can stay by arrangement, with additional charges possible. Electric and heating costs are included in the stay, and a travel cot and highchair are provided for younger guests. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out by 10am.
