Narracott Down

Narracott Down is a two-bedroom detached house in South Molton, an eco-friendly build set in the owner's private 30-acre grounds. It sleeps 4 across a ground-floor king-size bedroom, which converts to two 2ft 6in singles on request and sits next to the family bathroom, and a first-floor super-king-size master bedroom, which converts to twin singles on request, with its own en-suite shower room.

The open-plan living space has a 6-metre ceiling, a sofa bed for extra flexibility, and doors onto a covered veranda. The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher, and a 42-inch Smart TV with a sound bar covers evenings in. An air source heat pump and underfloor heating warm the house, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent. A highchair and travel cot are available.

Outside, a non-enclosed front garden has a patio and furniture, and a private driveway holds parking for 4 cars, with EV charging available by arrangement with the owner for an extra charge. Narracott Down welcomes two well-behaved dogs, kept on a lead for the ground-nesting birds and deer on site; an internal dog gate is provided. The grounds include lakes and fast-flowing water, so parents of young children should take care.

Smoking is not permitted. The shop is around 2.2 miles away and the pub is 2.1 miles, with South Molton's shops, pubs and restaurants a short drive away.
