Wheelhouse

Wheelhouse is a barn conversion in Muddiford, part of the Hewish Mill group, sleeping 8 across four en-suite bedrooms. Three of the bedrooms are upstairs and one is on the ground floor, reached down two steps, each with its own bath or shower room.

Upstairs, a double bedroom has an en-suite bath, and two twin bedrooms each have their own en-suite bath or shower room. The ground-floor double has an en-suite bath and shower over. A kitchen/diner, separate dining room and sitting room give plenty of space to spread out, and a utility room holds the washing machine, tumble drier and a WC.

The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and coffee machine, and oil central heating covers the barn. Fuel and power, plus bed linen and towels, are included in the rent. A TV, DVD player, WiFi and books are provided, and a travel cot and highchair are available on request.

A large private driveway has parking for 3 cars, and the front lawn has a picnic bench for outdoor meals. Four well-behaved pets are welcome, with access to a communal, enclosed dog paddock, and the property is no smoking throughout. Wheelhouse can also be booked together with three other Hewish Mill cottages, sleeping up to 26 guests across the group. The shop is 4 miles away and the pub 3 miles, and West Down, 5.7 miles away, has a Norman church and a 14th-century pub.
