Watermouth Castle, Bassett Apartment

Bassett Apartment is a first-floor apartment within the Watermouth Castle Estate at Berrynarbor, with sea views across Watermouth Cove from the grounds. It sleeps 4 across two bedrooms and shares its floor with a bathroom fitted with a bath and shower over.

The double bedroom and bunk room sit either side of the bathroom, with a kitchen fitted with an electric oven and hob, a fridge and a microwave, plus a separate living and dining room with a TV. Laundry is handled in a shared external utility room with a coin-operated washing machine and tumble dryer, rather than inside the apartment. Off-road private parking is provided for 1 car, with an additional free car park nearby.

Guests get free entry to the on-site Watermouth Castle Family Theme Park and use of the estate's seasonal indoor heated pool, open 8.30am to 5pm and measuring 10m by 4m. A shared patio with garden furniture opens onto the 50-acre grounds, and a cot and highchair are available. There is a lake and pond within the grounds, so supervise children and pets around the water.

Two well-behaved dogs are welcome. Smoking is not permitted inside, and the apartment does not accept one-night bookings. The shop is 1.7 miles away, the pub 0.8 miles and the beach 0.5 miles.
