Waie House 2

Waie House 2 is a reverse-level property designed to maximise views from upper windows. The ground floor holds the double bedroom with en-suite shower over bath and WC, plus two twin rooms and a family bathroom with shower over bath and WC. A utility room houses a washing machine. Upstairs, the bright living area features sofas, a Smart TV and an electric fire, with an open-plan kitchen and dining space seating six. The kitchen is equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. A first-floor balcony overlooks the surrounding landscape.

Set near Zeal Monachorum in a rural location, the property comes with ample on-site parking. Wi-Fi is available but the signal can be intermittent or weak given the rural setting. Outside, guests have a private patio with BBQ and fire pit and outdoor furniture, as well as access to expansive shared lawns.

Free shared access to a communal heated indoor swimming pool is included, subject to availability; pre-booking is advised. Private sole hire of the pool costs £40 per hour and must be arranged in advance. The on-site sports hall offers badminton, tennis, netball and football with no extra charges, though booking before arrival is advisable. Other shared facilities include snooker and pool tables, table tennis, a skittle alley, squash courts and a five-a-side all-weather pitch.

Children have access to a large outdoor adventure playground with zip slides and an indoor soft play area with ball ponds, climbing areas and slides; the soft play area has its own coffee shop. Carp fishing is available at nearby lakes. Travel cots, highchairs and stairgates are available, and an on-site pub and restaurant operate during most stays, though the pub closes on Christmas and Boxing Day. Shops are around 2 miles away. No dogs are permitted.
