The Workshop

The Workshop is a single-storey annex in Mary Tavy, a Dartmoor village around three and a half miles from Tavistock. It sleeps 2 in one bedroom, and an open-plan living space combines the kitchen with a dining and sitting area warmed by an electric fire.

The super-king-size bedroom has skylight windows and can be arranged as a twin on request, and its en-suite has a walk-in shower, basin and a washing machine built in. Head height is restricted in the en-suite and bedroom, and the opening to the fire escape from the bedroom is 40cm wide.

The kitchen has an electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster, and the sitting area has a Smart TV, WiFi and a selection of books and games for quieter evenings in. Electric heating and electric radiators cover the annex throughout the year, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent, leaving little to organise before arrival.

Outside, the enclosed rear garden has a lawn, patio, sun loungers, furniture and a private hot tub, though the hot tub is not available from 16 October 2026 onward. Roadside parking is provided at the annex, and the property sits directly on National Cycle Route 27, useful for guests bringing bikes. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome, and smoking is not permitted. The nearest shop is 0.6 miles away, with a pub around 0.1 mile.
