Bluebell Cottage

Bluebell Cottage is a semi-detached annexe attached to the owner's home in Mary Tavy on Dartmoor, with a single double bedroom that sleeps 2. To maximise space in the room, the bed sits against the wall with access from one side only, so it suits guests who don't need to get out on both sides.

The open-plan kitchen/diner has bi-fold doors onto the garden, an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher, and a dining table for four. A separate utility and cloakroom sit off the entrance, and the sitting room has a wall-mounted Smart TV, soundbar and WiFi for evenings in. The bathroom has a 3/4-size bath with a shower over, basin, heated towel rail and WC, which may not suit anyone with limited mobility.

Outside, the garden has a lawn, patio, decking, furniture and a fire pit for stargazing on clear evenings. Off-road parking covers 1 car, and there's an EV charging point available on site, payable direct to the owner rather than through the booking. A travel cot is available on request for younger guests.

Bluebell Cottage welcomes two well-behaved pets, kept under tight control while in the garden. Central heating runs throughout, with fuel and power included in the rent alongside bed linen and towels. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property, the village shop is 0.6 miles away and the pub 0.3 miles.
