The Pool House

The Pool House is a single-storey, studio-style holiday home reached up a short flight of curving steps through the owners' garden, in the market town of Crediton. The studio combines a king-size bedroom with a kitchen, dining area and sitting area in one open space, and a shower room with a walk-in shower sits alongside.

The kitchen has an electric hob and combi oven, a fridge-freezer, a microwave and WiFi, and wall-mounted electric heaters keep the studio warm. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent, and off-road parking is available on arrival.

Outside, a screened garden holds a private unheated swimming pool measuring 32ft by 16ft, along with sun loungers, furniture and a barbecue for dining outdoors. The pool runs from the start of May to the end of September, and the owners use it themselves daily between 4.30pm and 6.30pm.

The steps up to the property have no handrail, which may make it unsuitable for anyone with limited mobility, so this is worth planning around. No pets are allowed and the property is strictly no smoking. The shop is 0.4 miles away and the pub 0.3 miles, and hosts ask that a one-night stay be confirmed with them before booking.
