Apple Cottage

Apple Cottage is the sister property to neighbouring Plum Cottage, converted from a cob and stone barn just outside the village of Colebrooke, a short drive from Crediton. The open-plan ground floor pairs a sitting area around a woodburning stove with a farmhouse dining table next to the kitchen.

Upstairs, a double bedroom looks out over the orchard the two cottages share, while the twin room has zip-and-link beds that can be made up as a super king-size double on request. A shower room with shower, basin and WC completes the layout, and the cottage sleeps 4 in total.

The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, washer/dryer and dishwasher, and the sitting area has a TV with Freeview, DVD player and iPod dock alongside WiFi. Air source underfloor heating and the woodburning stove keep the cottage warm, with fuel, power and a fire starter pack included in the rent. A cot and highchair are available on request.

Outside, a screened gravel patio in front of the cottage has furniture for outdoor time. Off-road parking is provided for 1 car. No pets or smoking are permitted, and the property is for holiday use only, not worker bookings. The nearest pub is a mile's walk and the nearest shop is 5 miles away.
