The Oak Barn at Roys View

The Oak Barn at Roys View is a converted loft barn sleeping two adults, reached by an external staircase into a first-floor open-plan living space. Skylights flood the kitchen, dining and lounge area with natural light, and the kitchen comes equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge/freezer, plus a breakfast bar for casual meals. A sofa faces the Smart TV for evenings in, while the double bedroom and contemporary shower room lead off the main space.

Outside, an enclosed gated garden with a lawn and far-reaching views provides a private setting for the hot tub and garden furniture. A gas BBQ is available to hire separately. Private off-road parking for two cars sits on site, and two dogs are welcome, with possible additional charges; doggy day care can also be arranged directly with the owner at extra cost.

Crediton is the nearest town, with a pub and shop around two miles away. Dartmoor National Park is within a short drive for walking, and the coast is roughly 23 miles. A travel cot and highchair are available for families, though the external staircase and first-floor layout mean the barn is not suited to guests with limited mobility.

Arrival is from 16:00 and departure before 10:00. Bathrobes and towels are included. The barn sits next to the owner's home, so this is a working property with a neighbourly atmosphere rather than a fully standalone retreat.
