Converted stone barn near Clovelly, sleeps four

The Nuthatch is a converted stone barn at Higher Clovelly, near Bideford, sleeping four across two bedrooms. The ground floor has a beamed lounge opening onto the garden, a kitchen and dining room, and a shower room with WC. Upstairs, exposed beams continue through a king-size bedroom and a twin room.

The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, midi fridge/freezer and a pod coffee machine, and there's a smart TV with DVD player in the lounge. A stairgate is provided for families with young children, along with a travel cot and highchair on request.

Outside, an enclosed garden has a decked patio, lawn, outdoor furniture and a barbecue, with a tap for washing off muddy boots and paws. Beyond the garden, guests can use the owners' shared grounds, which include a small lake; this is unfenced, so care is needed with children and dogs. Off-road parking is available on site.

Two dogs are welcome, subject to additional charges, though dogs under one year old cannot be accepted and dogs are not permitted upstairs. Two farm cats live on site. CCTV covers the owners' property and part of the parking area. Internet access is provided, and check-in is from 16:30 with check-out by 10:00.
