The Nest

The Nest is a third-floor apartment in Dartmouth, reached by 48 steps from street level. It sleeps 2 in a king-size bedroom, with a bathroom fitted with a bath and a shower over.

A large dormer window in the living/dining room looks across the river towards Kingswear and Dartmouth Castle. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge and a washing machine, and there's a dining table for meals in, with the sofa a good spot to unwind after a day of sightseeing.

Gas central heating runs through the flat, and a TV and WiFi cover evenings in. Fuel and power are included in the rent, along with bed linen and towels.

A short stroll from the apartment, Dartmouth's narrow streets hold boutique shops, restaurants and art galleries, and the Dartmouth Steam Railway runs from nearby Kingswear to Paignton, home to Paignton Zoo's collection of more than 2,000 animals and 300 species, making for an easy day trip.

The shop and pub are 0.1 miles away and the beach is 1.1 miles. No pets or smoking are permitted. On-street parking is available nearby, though restrictions can apply, and a short-stay car park allows overnight parking close by for a charge.
