The Hideaway

The Hideaway is a single-storey cottage in Thurlestone, close to the Village Inn pub and the Thurlestone Post Office & Stores, both a short walk away. The whole property, including both bedrooms, is on one level.

The two bedrooms, a king-size and a super king-size, are both zip/link so can be set up as twins on request, and each has its own en-suite, one a bathroom and the other a shower room. The open-plan living/dining room has a Smart TV (no terrestrial channels, Smart TV only), and the kitchen has sleek fitted units with a combi microwave/oven, dishwasher and washing machine among the integrated appliances.

Electric heating covers the cottage, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent. Outside, a rear communal garden is shared with other guests, with a lawn, patio, gravelled area, barbecue and furniture. A garage next to the property can be used for storage.

Off-road parking is provided, and EV charging is available on site. Salcombe and Bigbury-on-Sea are both within easy reach for more beaches and coastal walks. The Hideaway takes strictly one dog, and smoking isn't permitted anywhere on the property. The shop and pub are both under 0.1 miles away, and the beach around 0.9 miles.
