Sitting in the heart of Thurlestone, this two-bedroom bungalow sleeps four and frames views across the Avon Estuary, Bantham Beach and Burgh Island from its main living space. The front door has two steps up, and the private parking space sits within 20 yards of the back door, which involves four steps in total from car to door. Two dogs are welcome, though additional charges may apply, and children under five cannot be accommodated.

Large windows draw the coastal panorama into the open living room. A wood burner, with a first basket of logs supplied, warms the space in cooler months, and a Smart TV provides evening entertainment. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge-freezer, microwave, coffee machine and dishwasher, with a washer-dryer alongside. A bar area adjoins the kitchen end of the room. Both bedrooms are on the ground floor and share a single shower room with WC; the king-size room looks out over the rear garden and countryside.

Both garden areas are enclosed. The rear garden has a patio with dining furniture and a BBQ, reached by steps down from the back door. A lawned front area with a bench completes the outdoor space. A village shop and pub are around 500 metres away, and Bantham Beach is roughly half a mile.

Arrival is from 16:00 and departure by 10:00. The South West Coastal Path runs close by, and the wider South Hams coast and countryside are readily accessible for day trips from this compact, well-equipped base.
