The Fishermans Cottage - Ilfracombe

Sitting on an historic medieval street right at the harbour in Ilfracombe, this two-bedroom cottage sleeps three across three floors and welcomes up to two dogs. The cottage faces directly onto a working harbour where fresh fish is landed daily, with shops, pubs, cafes and the beach all within 100 metres.

The layout spreads across three storeys. The ground floor holds a well-equipped kitchen with electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave, plus a separate dining room. A staircase leads to the first floor, where a comfortable lounge with a Smart TV sits alongside a single bedroom. The top floor has a double bedroom with generous wardrobe space, and a family bathroom with shower over the bath. Guests who play guitar will find one available for use during their stay.

Outside, a small courtyard with a decked seating area is accessible directly from the kitchen. The courtyard is enclosed and works well for morning coffee before heading out. Two dogs are welcome, though additional charges may apply.

Fore Street operates a strict unloading-only policy, so vehicles cannot be left on the street. Paid parking is available at the public car park on Ropery Road, directly behind the property, with daily and weekly tickets purchasable there. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure before 10:00.
