The Coach House

The Coach House is a single-storey stone cottage on the Colmer Estate near Ugborough, one of 20 holiday cottages set in 28 acres of grounds. It sleeps up to 6, with a maximum of 4 adults and 2 children over the age of 3, across three bedrooms, a double, a twin and a children's bunk room, and two bathrooms: a family bathroom with a bath and overhead shower, and an en-suite shower room off the double.

The open-plan living area has a kitchen, dining space and sitting area, with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and a TV with DVD player and WiFi. Central heating covers the cottage, and French doors from the living area open onto a lawned garden with a patio, furniture and a barbecue. A shared washing machine and tumble dryer are available on site at an additional cost.

Guests staying at the Coach House have shared use of the estate's indoor pool, which is closed from November until mid March and runs a booking system, plus a large heated outdoor pool open from late May to early September. Other on-site facilities include a fitness room, games room, children's play area and a hard tennis court, for which guests bring their own racquets and balls, and availability is best confirmed with the owner in advance.

Off-road parking is provided for one car, and the shop and pub are around 0.4 miles away. The Coach House does not accept pets, and smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. Short breaks are not available, so bookings run by the week.
