This cottage sits within the owners' working farm at Whiddon Down, close to the northern edge of Dartmoor National Park. It suits families or couples looking for a rural base, with accommodation for up to four guests across two bedrooms.

Inside, a light kitchen and breakfast room is fitted with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and coffee machine. The adjoining lounge has a dining area, comfortable seating and a wood burning stove, with a first basket of logs included, along with a Smart TV and DAB/Bluetooth stereo. Upstairs, the king-size bedroom has its own Smart TV and music centre plus room for dressing, while the second bedroom offers a 4' double bed and dual aspect windows. A single bathroom with a shower over bath and WC serves both rooms.

Outside, a flight of steps leads up to an enclosed cottage garden with a lawn, gravel patio, garden furniture and a gas barbecue, plus a summer house fitted with seating and a gas heater. Dogs are welcome, up to three, though they should be kept on a lead around the site and outside the garden due to livestock grazing in neighbouring fields. Off-road parking is provided for two cars directly outside the property.

A community shop lies within a mile and a pub is a five-minute drive away, useful given the farm setting. Superfast broadband is available throughout, and the property includes a travel cot and highchair along with a selection of indoor and outdoor games, making it practical for visiting families as well as couples wanting a quieter countryside stay.
