The Belvedere

Set in the centre of Beer, this two-bedroom property for four guests sits just 200 metres from a family-friendly shingle beach enclosed by limestone cliffs. Independent shops, galleries and places to eat are all within easy walking distance, and Seaton, under two miles away, gives access to the Jurassic Coast World Heritage site, the Seaton Tramway, Cliff Field Gardens and a Jurassic-themed Play Park.

Internal stairs lead up to a hallway with stained-glass windows and a seating area. The large lounge has an open fire, two sofas and a bay window looking along the street toward the sea. The kitchen is spacious and contemporary, with a dining table set in a mullion bay window that looks down to the sea. Natural light fills every room throughout the day.

The king-size bedroom has its own en-suite shower room with cubicle and WC. The twin bedroom is light and well-furnished, served by a separate family bathroom with a bath, shower over the bath, bidet and WC. Kitchen equipment includes a gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, washer-dryer, fridge-freezer, microwave and a Nespresso Vertuo coffee machine, though pods are not provided. A cot, stairgate and highchair can be hired on request.

Parking for one car is available on site, with a height restriction of 6 feet 1 inch. An electric vehicle charge port is fitted, though you must supply your own cable and a £45 weekly charge applies for its use. The shared garden has seating and good views. One dog is welcome, with additional charges potentially applying. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure before 10:00.
