Sitting in a quiet residential development at the centre of Beer, a working fishing village where the local fishing fleet lands its catch on a shingle beach, this ground-floor apartment suits four guests who prefer single-storey living. Two steps down at the entrance are the only stairs; once inside, every room is on one level. The open-plan lounge, diner and kitchen combine inviting sofas with traditional styling and give the group plenty of space to relax, eat and spend time together.

One bedroom has a double bed and the other has full-size twins, both with storage so you can settle in properly. A single modern tiled bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC serves both rooms. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer, along with a Tassimo coffee machine. Night storage heaters warm the apartment throughout. Duvets and pillows are provided, but you will need to bring your own sheets, duvet covers, pillow cases, towels and kitchen linens.

Free parking for one car is available to the rear. The beach, shops and pubs are all within 350 metres, making this a practical base for guests without a car as well. There is no garden attached to the apartment, though the village and Jubilee Gardens on the cliffside above the beach are a level walk away. Dogs are not permitted.

Arrival is from 16:00 and departure before 10:00.
