Sitting on the second floor of a modern building, this apartment in Woolacombe places four guests within 150 metres of a three-mile stretch of sand. The two bedrooms are configured as one double and one twin, served by a single shower room with WC. Access throughout is via external steps, so the layout suits guests who are comfortable on stairs.

One allocated parking space is included, sized for cars up to a VW T7, and a garage provides secure storage for surfboards, bicycles and similar gear. The open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area is fitted with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with small ice box, and a slimline dishwasher. A Smart TV, welcome pack, travel cot and highchair are all provided; guests should bring their own beach towels.

There is no private outdoor space with the apartment. A shop and pub are both around 150 metres away, and several restaurants and cafes are within easy reach. The Neo Cinema at the Woolacombe Bay Hotel is pre-bookable locally, and Ilfracombe is a short drive away for independent shops, galleries and the aquarium.

Two dogs are welcome, though additional charges may apply. Arrival is from 17:00 and departure is before 09:00, which is worth bearing in mind for guests planning an early getaway.
