The Barn

The Barn is a ground-floor apartment in Lifton, one of three apartments that make up Lifton Hall, suited to a couple. A spacious entrance gives room for coats and boots after a day out in the Devon countryside.

The king-size bedroom sits alongside a bathroom with a bath, shower over, basin and WC. The open-plan living space holds a kitchen with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and a Nespresso machine, a dining area for two, and a sitting area with a Smart TV.

Oil central heating with underfloor heating covers the apartment, and WiFi is included. Guests also have access to a washing machine and tumble dryer. Outside, a front patio has a bistro table and chairs, a good spot for a morning coffee, and private off-road parking is provided.

Lifton itself has a village shop and post office, pubs and restaurants, plus an award-winning farm shop with its own bakery and restaurant at the far end of the village. Launceston is 5 miles away and Tavistock 10.1 miles, and Dartmoor National Park, Bodmin Moor and a range of beaches and tourist attractions can all be reached within around 45 minutes by car.

The Barn welcomes one well-behaved dog; guests are asked to bring their own covers for soft furnishings or request them on arrival. Smoking or naked flames are not permitted. One-night bookings are not accepted. The shop and pub are both 0.2 miles away, with the lake 7 miles.
