Strawberry Bank - Kingfisher

Strawberry Bank - Kingfisher is a single-storey barn conversion near the village of Pyworthy, close to Bridgerule, with original beamed ceilings and a countryside setting. It sleeps 4 across two king-size bedrooms, both with zip/link beds that can be made up as twins: the master has its own en-suite shower room, walk-in shower, basin, WC and heated towel rail, reached by one step from the lounge, while the second bedroom has an adjacent shower room.

The open-plan living space brings together the kitchen, dining and sitting areas, with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and coffee machine. Under-floor heating covers the barn, with fuel and power included in the rent along with bed linen and towels, and a small porch holds a dog hair dryer.

Outside, an enclosed patio has furniture, a barbecue and a private hot tub looking over open countryside. A travel cot and highchair can be arranged in advance, though cot linen isn't supplied. Guests can also book use of a shared gym and sauna on site, and EV charging is available on site.

Off-road parking covers 2 cars, with up to 2 more vehicles possible on site on request; the parking area sits behind the owners' home, around 30 metres from the property. There is a fenced lake on site, reached through a gate, so care is needed. One well-behaved dog is welcome, with an enclosed paddock, an external dog shower and pet towels provided, though a second pet cannot be accommodated. Dogs should stay on a lead except on the patio and in the paddock. Smoking is not permitted, and the shop is around 5 miles away, the pub about 2 miles.
