South Cuma

South Cuma is a four-bedroom converted barn near Drewsteignton sleeping up to ten guests. The master bedroom sits above the main living area via an open-tread staircase, with a super-king-size bed, a Juliet balcony with a glass balustrade, an en-suite shower room with WC, and a freestanding bath positioned in the bedroom itself. Two king-size rooms and a family room with two double beds occupy the opposite end of the barn; the family room and one king-size room share a Jack and Jill shower room, while the other king-size has an en-suite bathroom with bath and handheld shower but no door separating it from the sleeping area. A shower room with WC and a separate WC are available downstairs. First-floor ceilings are low and sloping throughout.

The open-plan kitchen, dining and living room reaches 21-foot ceiling heights and contains a wood burner, with a first basket of logs provided and further baskets purchasable on site. Kitchen equipment runs to two electric ovens, two grills, an induction hob, two wine fridges, an integrated Smeg coffee machine, a microwave and a fridge-freezer, while the utility room holds a washer-dryer. A snug at the far end adds a second wood burner and Smart TV. The games room has a full-size snooker table restricted to guests aged 16 and over. Two travel cots, two highchairs and Starlink satellite Wi-Fi are all included.

Outside, a patio with garden furniture and a charcoal BBQ adjoins the barn. The grounds include an unfenced pond with a rowing boat available for guest use at their own risk; children must be supervised there at all times. Private parking accommodates up to eight cars, though the half-mile approach track is unmade and unsuitable for low-slung or sports cars.

A private water supply via a ground source heat pump means all showers and hot water cannot be used at the same time. Beach towels are not provided. Stag and hen parties are not permitted, no dogs are allowed, and check-in is from 16:00 with departure before 09:00.
