Smugglers Cottage

Smugglers Cottage stands in Beer, a period property whose terrace looks out to the sea and beyond, with a summerhouse alongside for the same view under cover when the weather turns. The cottage sleeps 4 across two bedrooms and one bathroom, set within a garden that steps down the plot in tiers.

The king-size bedroom has a TV and DVD player, and a twin room sits alongside it; both share a single bathroom with a bath, shower over, basin and heated towel rail. Because the garden is built on several levels, younger children need supervising when they're outside.

The sitting room has original ceiling beams around an inglenook fireplace and a woodburning stove, and the kitchen/diner runs an electric oven, grill and hob, a fridge with ice box, a combined washing machine and tumble dryer, and a dishwasher. A Smart TV, TV, DVD player and WiFi cover the evenings in, with fuel, power, bed linen and towels all included in the rent. Logs for the woodburner are not supplied.

Smugglers Cottage takes one well-behaved dog, and smoking is not permitted inside. There's no private parking: a public car park is a short walk away, with one permit issued for the EDDC car park, so send over your car registration ahead of arrival to have it activated. The shop is 0.1 miles from the door and the pub 0.2 miles.
