Salcombe Lodge

This lodge stands on a Christmas tree farm within the village of Marldon, near Totnes in South Devon, and sleeps four across two bedrooms. Underfloor heating runs throughout, and the open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining area is entered from rear patio doors, furnished with a Smart TV, a wood burner (first logs provided) and two sofas.

Both bedrooms sit to the rear of the lodge. The first has a zip-and-link king-size bed, which can be made up as a twin on request, with an en-suite shower room and WC. The second has a fixed king-size bed, a TV, and its own en-suite shower room with WC. The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and coffee machine.

Outside, a paved area offers outdoor dining and seating alongside a private hot tub and a dedicated BBQ space. Parking is available for one vehicle only. A pub is around a mile away and a shop roughly two miles off, with a beach some 2.5 miles distant.

Two dogs are welcome here, though they must be kept off the furniture and on leads around the property. Wheelchair users should note the number of external steps, which may make access difficult. A travel cot and highchair can be arranged on request, and internet access is provided throughout the stay.
