Russell House

Russell House is a former boutique hotel in Paignton, set right in the heart of the seaside town with views over Tor Bay and Paignton Sands. It sleeps 10 across five en-suite bedrooms spread over three floors, and check-in runs on Fridays only.

Three bedrooms are on the first floor, including a master bedroom with a Jacuzzi bath en-suite and access to a private balcony overlooking the beachfront, and two further bedrooms are on the second floor. Every bedroom has its own TV and en-suite walk-in shower, basin and WC, and there's a ground-floor toilet with a basin for guests downstairs.

The grand dining room has a gas fire, and the living room adds a second gas fire, a large Smart TV and a Bluetooth speaker. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, wine cooler and a coffee machine, and a separate utility room holds a washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing facilities. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent, and a highchair, travel cot and stairgate are available.

Outside, an enclosed sunny front garden has furniture, and an enclosed rear courtyard has further seating for the sea air. Off-road parking covers 4 cars, and one well-behaved pet is welcome, with more possibly allowed on request. The beach, shops, pubs and restaurants are all within a one to two-minute walk. Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere inside, and short breaks need a minimum of 4 nights.
