Rolling Hills

Rolling Hills is a one-bedroom cottage in Mortehoe, near Woolacombe, sleeping two adults with up to two dogs welcome. Original oak beams and stone walls give the open-plan living space a traditional character, while the country-style kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, slimline dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and a Hydro boil hot tap. A Nespresso CitiZ coffee machine is provided with a starter supply of pods.

The sitting area centres on a wood burner with a first basket of logs included, and a Smart TV for evenings in. Stairs lead down to the king-size bedroom and en-suite, which has a free-standing bath, separate walk-in shower, WC and underfloor heating. The layout involves stairs to the bedroom, so it may not suit all guests.

Outside, an enclosed garden with a decked seating area and charcoal BBQ looks out over far-reaching sea views. Private parking is provided for two cars, and an untethered EV charger is available on site, payable via app directly to the owner, who will supply the details on arrival.

A pub is around half a mile away and a shop within a mile. The beach at Woolacombe is approximately 2 miles from the cottage, with the town itself around 2.5 miles away. The village of Lee and its shingle beach are also reachable on foot from the cottage. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure before 10:00.
