Ocean View

Ocean View sits in the coastal village of Hope Cove, Devon, a few minutes' walk from the sandy beaches, eateries and village shop. The four-bedroom house sleeps 6, and the open-plan kitchen, dining and living room has wide coastal views, with a kitchen window that looks out to sea.

The master bedroom has a king-size bed and an en-suite shower room with a WC, a second bedroom has a double bed, a third is a twin room, and a fourth has a single bed. A newly refurbished family bathroom has a thermostatic shower, a bath, a basin and a WC, good for soaking tired legs after a walk on the South West Coast Path, and there's a separate cloakroom with a WC in the hallway.

The dining area seats eight, and the kitchen has an electric cooker, a fridge/freezer, a washer/dryer, a dishwasher and a microwave. A 49-inch TV with Freeview, DVD and a CD hi-fi covers the living room, and electric heaters warm the house throughout.

Outside, a terrace with glass balustrading has a table, chairs and a built-in barbecue, sheltered enough to sit out on breezy days, and beyond it a large sloping lawn has flower beds. Parking for up to 2 cars is available on the shared driveway. Ocean View takes two well-behaved pets, and smoking is not permitted.
