Cox Tor

Cox Tor is a single-storey holiday caravan near Tavistock, set within Langstone Manor Holiday Park in a sheltered wooded valley on the south-west edge of Dartmoor National Park, about 3.3 miles from the nearest shop. All the accommodation is on one level, and an open-plan living space brings the kitchen, dining area and sitting area together. The caravan sleeps four across two bedrooms.

The double bedroom offers a simple place to unpack, and the twin room suits children or friends sharing, with a shower room fitted with a walk-in shower, basin and WC completing the layout. Central heating covers the caravan, and the kitchen has an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle and toaster. A TV, DVD player and WiFi are provided in the sitting area, which also has a sofa bed and an electric fire.

Outside, patio furniture gives somewhere to sit with a morning drink, and off-road parking is provided for one car. Two well-behaved pets are welcome, though should not be left unattended in the caravan, and smoking is not permitted. Bed linen is included in the rent, though guests should bring their own towels.

The wider holiday park brings an on-site restaurant, shop, bar and children's playground close at hand, and nearby Tavistock has a swimming pool, waterslides and a cinema for family days out. Dartmoor National Park is on the doorstep for walking and exploring the open moorland. The property does not accept bookings from workers or contractors.
