Toad Hall

Set in the countryside around Tavistock, this three-bedroom cottage sleeps five across a double, a twin and a single room. The ground-floor family bathroom includes a shower cubicle, WC and a compact bath measuring 140 cm by 70 cm, worth noting if you prefer a full-length soak. Private off-road parking for three cars sits alongside the property.

The open-plan kitchen and dining area is equipped with a ceramic hob, electric oven, microwave and a coffee pod machine, with a dining table that seats all five guests. A utility room houses the dishwasher, washing machine and a fridge/freezer. The adjoining living room has a Smart TV, DVD player and an electric fire, with storage heaters in the bedrooms and electric radiators downstairs.

Outside, guests have their own designated lawn area and a private patio, partially screened from the owners' adjoining garden by shrubs. The overall plot is roughly half an acre, giving plenty of room to spread out. The owners live next door with their dog, though privacy is maintained by the screening. No dogs are permitted for guests.

Dartmoor National Park is around four miles away, and a pub is within a mile. A shop is roughly two miles out. The cottage is family-friendly, and all bedrooms look out over the front and rear gardens and the surrounding countryside.
