Little Blagdon

Little Blagdon is a stone-built cottage in the village of Ashwater, with off-road parking for 2 cars and a woodburning stove in the sitting room. The cottage sleeps 6 across three bedrooms and one bathroom, plus a separate cloakroom.

The kitchen/diner has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, air fryer, dishwasher and washing machine, and a separate dining room seats the group for meals. Oil-fired central heating covers the cottage, with underfloor heating in the lounge and dining room, and a utility room adds extra space. Fuel, power and a starter pack for the woodburner are included in the rent.

Three bedrooms fill the first floor: a king-size, a double and a twin. The bathroom has a freestanding bath, a walk-in shower, a heated towel rail and a double basin, and a travel cot, highchair and stairgate are available on request.

Little Blagdon takes up to four well-behaved dogs, for a fee. The enclosed rear garden has lawn, a gravelled area, furniture and a gas barbecue, and ponies graze in the paddock next door. A CCTV camera on the owner's house covers the driveway and parking area. Smoking is not permitted, and the nearest shop, pub and lake are all within about 4 miles.
