Larksworthy Cottage

Larksworthy Cottage is a thatched terraced cottage on the edge of North Tawton, down a quiet lane within walking distance of the town's shops and pubs. Exposed beams and a stone fireplace run through the sitting room, which steps down to a dining area. The cottage sleeps 3 across two bedrooms and a ground-floor shower room.

Upstairs, a king-size double bedroom sits alongside a single bedroom, both served by the ground-floor shower room with a walk-in shower, basin and WC. The sitting room opens into the dining area, and the kitchen is fitted for full self-catering, with gas central heating running throughout the cottage.

The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, microwave and fridge/freezer, plus a washing machine, a dishwasher and a Smart TV with DVD and CD players. A travel cot and highchair are available, and WiFi covers the cottage. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent. Roadside parking sits directly outside on a first come, first served basis.

The enclosed rear garden has a decked area with seating under the trees, a quiet spot for an evening outside. Larksworthy Cottage welcomes two well-behaved dogs, and Dartmoor's tors and Abbeyford Woods are both within reach for walks and cycling. Okehampton, a short drive away, has a castle and a Victorian shopping arcade. Smoking is not permitted, and the shop and pub are a ten-minute walk away.
