Dating from 1890, this large home near Colyton has retained much of its original character, from parquet flooring in the hall to decorative fireplaces throughout the ground floor. It suits family gatherings and special occasions, with formal rooms for dining and quieter spaces to retreat to when the group wants to split up.

The kitchen and breakfast room is built around an Aga, with a handy scullery and a separate utility room housing a washing machine, tumble dryer and additional fridge/freezer storage. The dining room has a serving hatch and an electric hostess trolley for keeping food warm, and a conservatory offers a second dining space with doors out to the garden. The sitting room has an open fire and a bay window seat looking over the grounds, and there is a separate snug for quieter evenings.

Sleeping arrangements are spread across ground and first floors. Two dogs are welcome, subject to an additional charge, and private parking is available on site for six cars.

Outside, mature gardens and lawns include a croquet lawn, a five-a-side football pitch, a golf practice net and a decked area with a barbecue, along with a greenhouse and a seating area by the pond. A cot and highchair are provided for younger guests, and there is Sky Sport and BT Sport on a smart TV along with internet access. An EV charging point is available in the main car park in Colyton, roughly 500 metres away, rather than on the property itself.
