Jasmine Cottage - Winkleigh

Jasmine Cottage is a thatched period property in Broadwoodkelly, a quiet village near Winkleigh in Mid Devon. It sleeps four, two adults and two children, across two first-floor bedrooms reached by steep cottage-style stairs with low door frames throughout the upper floor. The king-size room has ceiling beams and a vintage dressing table; a bunk bedroom for children opens directly from it, tucked beneath the eaves. The ground-floor shower room has a walk-in shower and WC.

The lounge and dining area share one space anchored by a wood burner, with a leather sofa beneath low beamed ceilings and a hand-crafted dining table seating four. The compact country kitchen provides an electric oven and hob, microwave, cafetiere, fridge with ice compartment, and washing machine. A Smart TV and a selection of books and games complete the indoor amenities, and a first basket of logs is supplied for the wood burner.

Outside, an enclosed shingle garden with bistro furniture provides a sheltered spot to sit, and an outdoor tap handles muddy boots and paws. Private off-road parking is available for one car. Up to two small or medium dogs are welcome, though they are not permitted upstairs. Towels are included and a travel cot is available on request.
