Hornshayne Farmhouse

Hornshayne Farmhouse stands in the hamlet of Woodbridge, three-quarters of a mile from Farway on a 335-acre working farm, within reach of Honiton. The house sleeps 11 across five bedrooms spread over three levels, from the attic down.

A double and a king-size double each have an en-suite bathroom, a family bedroom pairs a convertible super king with a single bed and its own en-suite shower room, and two further doubles share a bathroom with a corner bath. A separate shower room sits on the ground floor.

The kitchen is the hub of the house, built around a Rayburn, and there's a sitting room with an electric fire, a playroom, a small TV room and a utility room. A cot and highchair are available on request, and a games barn gives everyone somewhere to spread out.

Outside, the garden is shared with the owners and includes a children's play area, a picnic table and a barbecue. Guests are welcome to help feed the farm's calves and explore the surrounding countryside, with a river for paddling. Off-road parking is provided for up to 5 cars, and EV charging is available on site, paid for through an app. The farmhouse takes two well-behaved dogs, is no smoking throughout, and all bookings, including short breaks, must start on a Friday.
