Highford Farm - Swallows Rest

Swallows Rest sits just outside Higher Clovelly, around two miles from the coast, and sleeps four across two bedrooms. Exposed beams, wooden floors and vaulted ceilings run throughout the property, giving the interior a traditional, characterful feel.

The kitchen/diner is well lit by extensive windows and a patio door onto the garden, and is equipped with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, small table-top freezer, coffee pod machine, dishwasher and washing machine. The lounge has wooden flooring, a beam-lined vaulted ceiling and a Smart TV/DVD player. Accommodation is arranged on one level, though there are two steps up into the lounge worth noting for anyone with mobility concerns.

One bedroom has a king-size bed and the other has bunk beds, and both share the single bathroom, which has a shower over the bath and a WC. A travel cot and highchair are available on request, making this a practical option for families with young children.

Outside, an enclosed garden offers a lawn, patio area, garden furniture and deck chairs, along with a barbecue for warmer evenings and a lockable storage cupboard for bikes. Parking is provided for two cars, though EV charging is not permitted on site. Up to three dogs are welcome, with additional charges applying. Internet access is available. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure before 10:00.
