Highford Barn

Highford Barn sits just outside Higher Clovelly, within two miles of the fishing village of Clovelly and its cobbled harbour streets. Hartland and The Woolsery are nearby with local shops, pubs and food outlets. The Donkey Sanctuary adjoins the property, and the donkeys can be watched grazing the fields directly behind the barn throughout your stay.

Both bedrooms are upstairs and feature restricted headroom in places due to the apex roof. The king-size room has an en-suite with freestanding bath, shower cubicle and WC; the superking room (convertible to twin beds at the time of booking) shares the downstairs bathroom, which has a freestanding bath with handheld shower attachment and WC. The kitchen is well equipped with electric oven and hob, two fridges, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and coffee machine. Electric heating and underfloor heating on the ground floor provide warmth year-round; a woodburner is also available from October to the end of March (logs, kindling and firelighters included for the first night). EV charging is not permitted at the property.

French doors from the lounge open directly to the enclosed rear garden with lawn, seating and a charcoal Weber BBQ. A front patio with garden furniture provides a second outdoor sitting area. Indoor games and books are also provided.

Parking for two cars is on the driveway. Wi-Fi is included but is limited and not suitable for downloads or streaming. Two dogs are welcome (additional charges may apply). Travel cots and highchairs are available on request. Arrival is from 16:30 and departure before 10:00.
