Hartland View

Hartland View sits on the second floor of a beachfront complex in Woolacombe, reached via a decked walkway and its own private entrance. The outlook takes in sea views across to Lundy Island, and inside the lounge has comfortable sofas and a Smart TV for evenings after the beach. A kitchen/diner leads off the hallway, equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge/freezer for everyday cooking.

The two bedrooms comprise one double and one twin, served by a family bathroom with a shower over the bath and a separate WC. The apartment sleeps four in total. Outside storage is available for beach equipment such as boards and buckets, useful given the short distance down to the sand.

A shared garden area is accessed via steep steps and overlooks the beach and sea, with seating and a charcoal BBQ in the communal patio for al fresco meals. These communal areas are non-smoking under the insurance terms for the complex. Parking for one car is provided at the top of the property, with access down to the apartment itself also via steep steps, so this is worth bearing in mind for anyone with heavy luggage or mobility concerns.

Two dogs are welcome at Hartland View, though additional charges may apply. Internet access is available, and with pubs and shops close by this makes a practical base for a coastal stay. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure before 10:00.
