Hartland View

Hartland View is a semi-detached barn conversion near Bideford, which is about 7 miles off; the cottage itself is in Great Torrington. It has upside-down accommodation, with the living space upstairs and both bedrooms on the ground floor. The first-floor open-plan room combines a kitchen, dining area and sitting area, with views across fields towards the coast and Lundy Isle.

Both bedrooms, a double and a twin, sit on the ground floor and share a bathroom with a bath, shower over, basin and WC. The cottage sleeps 4 and is for adults only. Heating is electric throughout, and the kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher, with a TV, DVD player and WiFi in the living area.

Laundry is shared: a washing machine and tumble dryer sit in an external laundry room used by the neighbouring cottages on site. Outside, an enclosed front patio has furniture for outdoor meals, and guests share access to the gardens around the farmhouse. Off-road parking is provided for 2 cars.

Bookings run Friday to Friday, with a minimum stay of 3 nights. The shop and pub are 1.5 miles away. Hartland View does not accept pets and is strictly no smoking.
