Halshanger Barn

Halshanger Barn is a former threshing barn near Ashburton, on a Grade 2 listed farm building within Dartmoor National Park. It sleeps 11 across four en-suite bedrooms, set over the ground and lower-ground floors.

The ground floor has a family room with a super-king bed and a single bed, its own en-suite shower room, plus a cloakroom and utility. The lower-ground floor holds a super-king bedroom with a sofa bed, a double, and a triple with three single beds, each with its own en-suite. The open-plan living space has a kitchen, dining area and sitting area with wooden roof beams, and a further living room has a pool table, table tennis and a projector for films.

Off-road parking is provided for 6 cars, with EV charging available. The enclosed rear garden has a gravelled area, furniture, a barbecue, a lawn and a hot tub, and there's a separate fully enclosed exercise field for dogs. Two travel cots, a highchair and a stairgate are available on request. Some areas of the garden are uneven, so it's worth planning around for younger children.

Three well-behaved pets are welcome. Smoking is not permitted, and the barn does not accept hen, stag or similar parties. The shop is 2.5 miles away and the pub 2.8 miles.
