Gunn Cottage

Gunn Cottage sits near Goodleigh, close to Barnstaple in North Devon, and sleeps up to eight guests across four first-floor bedrooms, comprising two doubles and two twins, all with garden views. A family bathroom with shower over bath and WC serves this floor, while a separate shower room with WC is located downstairs off the games room.

The split-level ground floor opens from a spacious entrance hall into a cosy lounge with a Smart TV and an electric wood burner effect fire, and a separate dining room decorated in a country style. The cottage kitchen is well equipped with a Rayburn stove, electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, wine cooler, dishwasher and washing machine. A conservatory breakfast room overlooks the garden with French doors for outdoor dining, and a further lounge/games room offers a genuine wood burner, TV, Bluetooth music player, pool table, and doors leading outside.

Outside, the enclosed rear garden features red brick paths, a period greenhouse, a summer house and an undercover seating area with a chiminea, along with a lawn, patio and garden furniture served by a charcoal BBQ. Wi-Fi is included throughout, and heating is provided by a wood burner (first basket of logs included) alongside electric and central heating.

Parking is available on-road rather than on a private drive. Up to four dogs are welcome, with additional charges applying, and a travel cot and highchair are provided for younger guests. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure before 10:00.
