Golden Beach

Golden Beach sits quietly within earshot of crashing waves, yet shops, bars and restaurants are just a couple of hundred metres away. The award-winning beach stands 300 metres away, stretching for miles with certified clean waters. Surfing tuition and equipment hire operate locally. Smaller cove beaches at Barricane and Grunta lie 0.5 and 1 mile away. Woolacombe lies within easy reach of Exmoor National Park's countryside and dramatic coastline. Horse-riding and rock climbing are popular pursuits in the area. Ilfracombe harbour town, 5 miles distant, features Damien Hirst's bronze sculpture Verity alongside independent shops, cafés and restaurants.

The open-plan lounge and dining area contains two comfortable sofas and a television. Natural light fills the space, which flows into a bright kitchen equipped with an electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge-freezer. A washing machine is also provided. One bedroom offers a king-size bed with television and DVD player. The other has twin beds, television and DVD player, with an optional Z-bed available. The shower room includes a large level-access shower enclosure and WC.

Outside, a private storage locker holds beach equipment and surfboards, with an outdoor shower for rinsing off sand. The shared gravel garden and patio area includes a BBQ space for warm evenings. Private parking accommodates 2 cars. A pub and shop sit 0.1 miles away. Mobile signal is variable.

The apartment sleeps 4 guests. A travel cot and highchair are available. Up to 2 dogs are permitted; additional charges may apply. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure before 10:00. Towels are included. Internet access is available.
