Glebe House

Glebe House is a modern, recently refurbished detached house at the entrance to a quiet cul-de-sac in Aveton Gifford, an unspoiled village within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty a few miles from Bigbury. It sleeps 9 across four bedrooms, though the property takes a maximum of 8 adults and 1 child.

A wood-floored hallway leads into a sitting room, and an open-plan kitchen recently remodelled with a breakfast bar and dining table gives space for the whole family to gather. Double patio doors open onto the rear patio and garden. Two of the four first-floor bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms, and a family bathroom serves the rest, with a separate cloakroom WC on the ground floor.

The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher, plus two Smart TVs and a further TV, all with Freeview, a DVD and Blu-ray player and Wi-Fi. Gas central heating and a gas fire in the sitting room keep the house warm, and a cot and highchair are available.

The lawned, sunny garden is enclosed and has sun loungers plus a patio for family barbecues, and off-road parking is provided for two cars. It's a few minutes' walk to the village shop, pub and children's play park, and the soft sands of Bigbury-on-Sea are around 5 miles away. No pets are allowed, smoking is not permitted, and this is a family-groups-only booking.
